Forest Hampton


Forest Hampton III holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Toledo. He has more than 10 years of experience researching and developing the components that are used in modern plumbing systems. He spent the first 17 years of his career as a chemist for some of the largest product manufacturers in the country; State Chemical Manufacturing, Tremco Inc., Thermagon Inc. and Oatey Co., followed by several years specializing in plumbing codes and approvals. He holds 4 patents as co-inventor. He joined Lubrizol in 2013 as the codes and approvals manager for North America. He represents Lubrizol at various industry associations, code bodies, standards writing organizations and third-party certifiers such as ASME, ASTM E05 and F17, CSA, FM, ICC, IAPMO, NSF, PPFA, PPI and UL.
